Week Long COOKING DAY CAMPS
From the welcome reception on day one to the award ceremony on the last day, we offer a jam-packed week of learning and fun. Hands-on cooking lessons cover such topics as food prep, safety in the kitchen and sanitation, knife skills, planning and executing a menu and more. Etiquette training is conducted daily. As time permits, we incorporate a theme related field trip to a local restaurant to give the students an opportunity to practice their etiquette skills and try new foods. - - Our budding chefs are challenged weekly with a cook-off contest where winning recipes are included in our Classy Kids Cook Student Cookbook! - - We wrap up the week with an Iron Chef Competition. Students participate on two teams and compete against the clock. Parents are asked to arrive early on Friday to act as Judges, determining which team will rein supreme based on how creatively they used the Secret Ingredient, how beautifully they presented their dish and how amazing their creations taste! - - Camp is held from Monday to Friday from 8:30am to 3:30pm. - - Enrollment can be for full day, half day or any individual day of the week - Etiquette Training is also conducted daily. - Sessions are held from 8:30 - 3:30 or 8:30-11:30.
